Cancellations and Lateness
I make every effort to arrive at the studio or your home on time and ready to begin the session and request that clients do the same. Late clients will receive a shortened session at the booked service price. Clients more than 15 minutes late without notice are considered no shows. A 24-hour cancellation or rescheduling notice is required to avoid a no show fee. A client’s first no show is recorded, but not billed. All subsequent no shows are billed a fee equal to the booked service price. In the event of an emergency, please contact me at your earliest convenience.
Children
For the most effective and rejuvenating outcall session and the safety of little loved ones, please have care available for children. You deserve a break too! :]
Cleanliness & Allergies
As a health care practitioner I ask that you reschedule with me if you are ill, especially if you have a contagious illness. Receiving massage while you are sick can exacerbate the condition and puts me and my other clients at risk for infection. Please come into the session with good hygiene and be freshly showered if you’ve recently exercised, and I will do the same. My supplies and equipment are always freshly cleaned with cruelty-free, biodegradable, and unscented products, and I do not wear scents while doing bodywork.
Confidentiality
Your health history and massage sessions are completely confidential. I cannot release this information unless I am legally subpoenaed. You may see your file at any time.

Payments
I accept cash, checks, and credit card payments through PayPal. All payments are due at the time of service.
Scope of Practice
If a client presents with a condition that is outside of my scope of practice I will refer that client to a professional who is qualified to work with that particular ailment. While I do not diagnose, I always err on the side of caution and refer out when it comes to the well-being of my clients.
Social Relationships & Behavior
The practitioner to client relationship is strictly therapeutic. Sexual and/or inappropriate behavior is not tolerated and will lead to the termination of the session. In any case, full payment for the session will be required.
What to Expect
Sessions are typically 60 to 90 minutes in length. Your first session will include a complimentary 15 minute intake that will allow us to discuss your health history and goals for massage, and to address any questions you have for me. Each subsequent session will begin with a brief check-in to discuss any changes to your needs. After our check-in, I will leave the treatment area and allow you privacy to undress to your level of comfort and settle under the sheets on the table. You will be draped for modesty at all times during the massage, and only the area of the body being worked on will be uncovered. I will check in throughout the session regarding pressure and comfort, but if you feel discomfort or would like an adjustment to pressure or technique at any time, please communicate that to me and I will adjust the work accordingly. I will chart progress of each session in your client file and am happy to include any feedback that you provide. You may see your file at any time.
